“Labels are for Soup Cans”

I don’t think that saying means what people intend. A soup can is something whose contents are hard to ascertain without either a) a label, or b) dissection. I don’t like dissecting people, as it gets in the way of polite conversation. However you feel about that phrase, this is how I would appear in soup can form:
